On my way back from Mitchell, SD I stopped at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls, SD. A friend told me there was a baby Pallas Cat there, so figured it would be worth it.

Naturally it was rainy that morning, and saw neither hide nor hair of the Pallas cats or a snow leopard that was next to them. It was an ok-ish if small zoo, though I'm slightly spoiled being from Saint Louis with their incredible zoo, and the pretty good one here in Kansas City. The best thing was the derpy lion.
