High Effort Cat Photos

A friend of mine is out of town often, and asked me to feed and play with her cats while she was gone over Christmas. At the end of November, I bought a Sony a7 IV, making the plunge to full frame finally, and a few Tamron lenses that cover most of the range I normally shoot. And because glass is like that, I also have a cheap-ish 50mm lens getting here later this week, and I have an eBay search for a 150-500mm telephoto that could kill a Victorian child, and that I would need a new camera bag for.

Anyhow: Cat. I got permission to take some fancy cat photos of her one cat that doesn't hide in the back of the closet whenever I'm there. She's so fluffy and photogenic. Though very unsure of this weird shaped black thing I was pointing at her that was making clicking sounds repeatedly.
