KC Skyline From Sports Complex

On Sunday I got restless and decided to go out and about and photograph things around Kansas City I've been wanting to, but never have. It was raining when I decided, but it was forecasted to stop soon after I left (ominous foreshadowing).
First stop was looking over the Kansas City skyline from near the sports complex. I always liked the view from I-70 coming up the hill after the stadiums. There's a bridge that frames it nicely, here it is on street view, though you really can't see downtown.
Knowing that football season had started, I figured out how to see if the Chiefs were playing home or away, and on that day it was away. I didn't want to fight with game day traffic where looking for somewhere to pull off to park, and walk to the bridge. Unfortunately, I forgot baseball season was still going, and that day was the last home game of the season for the Royals. Whoops. At least it wasn't too bad when I was in that area.
I found a small place to turn off just before the stadiums that looked like it was for a communication tower. Naturally, the road to the bridge and the bride itself was very pedestrian unfriendly, no sidewalk on the road, and a sidewalk on only one side of the bridge.
Took the pictures, and started back to my car, when my camera fell out of the strap clip I use. Thankfully it was from waist level, and I think the lens hood absorbed a lot. Just some scuffs on the corner of the camera, and the lens still works fine.
