KC From The Scout Statue

Last for the day of my list of KC places to photograph, after the KCTV Tower was a stop at the Scout statue overlooking downtown. By this point I was getting sick of the drizzle that hadn't let up the whole time I was out. I grabbed a few shots of downtown and wandered back to the car.

I pondered a few other scenic spots downtown I saw pointed out on Google Maps, but thought they would look better on a clear day, maybe during golden hour. I also want to go back to the bridge by the stadiums and get downtown closer to sunset. This week has been very overcast and rainy, and no chance to do so yet. Eventually. It's close by, and I do want some practice doing street photography around buildings before going to Open House Chicago in a month.
